A visit to Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach was an unexpected treat. The park is terrific and offers any number of activities for ALL ages. At the top of the list was the opportunity to rent a Segway--for a two-hour unforgettable tour throughout the park. Prior to setting off, we watched a detailed video about the Segway and its use; additionally, Fred, the owner of Segway rentals, gave a one-on-one demonstration to each person who rented a Segway. Finally, a practice run for each of us before setting out. Fred is unfailingly competent, enthusiastic, positive, and possesses solid knowledge about all aspects of the Segway and its use. What a great experience! -- High Maintenance Lady

Our group of four are almost 70. With in a short time we were all out & traveling through the park. Andrew takes all the time needed for everyone to comfortable. We will be doing this again, especially for friends & family! It makes a great gift!!
If you are into nature you'll love this. Andrew knows the wildlife & the park well.

What a tour on a segway in the fun park of Okeeheelee. Very easy to manipulate,
surprisingly so. Had a great time. Thank you, Andrew....Judy and Miki

I took this tour with my 18-year-old daughter. Any anxiety we might have had at the outset about learning to ride a Segway was dispelled by Andrew's step-by-step approach, starting with a video and ending with a couple of turns around a little obstacle course. (If you can ride a bike, or have any experience with skis or in-line skates, you will pick up the technique very quickly.)
Also, Okeeheelee Park is ideal Segway country -- it's huge, mostly flat, has miles and miles of good paved trails, and is teeming with birds and other wildlife. And Andrew really gives you your money's worth; the tour itself lasts a good hour, and is accompanied with narrative (via walkie-talkie) about the park and its flora and fauna.
Overall, an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Our group consisted of 4 people and 4 age groups which made it very interesting. 60,70,80's and an 11 year old. Everyone did great! We watched an educational video, We practiced STOPPING & TURNING and became comfortable before heading out. Okeeheelee Park is the perfect place to try out the "SEGWAY".

Within a few minutes we were all riding around the segways, going through an obstacle course with no problem. Andrew is a fantastic guide. We cruised around Okeeheelee park for 2 hours and it was a beautiful day. We definitely recommend this tour! Segways are awesome fun!

Riding a Segway was on my Bucket List. We went to Okeeheelee Park, in West Palm Beach, FL. We went to a Segway place and the rest is history. It was easy! It didn't take long to learn. The tour was through a park. We had radios on the Segways. The guide talked to us and we talked to him as we learned about the wildlife and different activities that happen in this park. It was wonderful for me. I had a stroke three years ago. I was afraid because of my balance issues. There was no problem. It was fun getting around on a Segway!

We had never riden Segways and the guys at Green Motion had us comfortable in minutes. After that it was a great trip around the park and its miles of pathways with all sorts of bird life. Our 11 year old looked like he had been riding for years. Definitely a great morning or afternoon activity with helpful and knowledgeable...

We just got back from our two hour tour and it was a load of fun. The segway was easy to get used to and then really felt natural. The Park is perfect to ride around in. Safe and easy to learn - the park was a great location. Wide paths, but then once we learned there were challenging spots available for the adventurous. Great service by Andrew-instructions were clear and easy with just the right amount of humor. The 2 way walkie-talkie headsets were a nice touch. I would go again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I did this tour with my dad and we had the best time. I couldn't figure out what I liked more - the fun of learning how to ride a Segway or enjoying a gorgeous South Florida day at fantastic Okeeheelee Park. I was nervous about the Segway at first, not being the most coordinated of individuals. It was so easy! I picked it up right away and then I didn't want to get off! Andrew - who is a real character and excellent guide - made sure we were fully comfortable before we started the tour. The park itself is enormous - you would never be able to see it all without a Segway. We saw about 25 varieties of birds, including wild green parrots. There's also a world class water skiing course and the tour stops so visitors can watch the skiers. Andrew was very flexible around our interests and we never felt rushed. He was also very safety conscious, which we all appreciated. The $40 for the first tour of the day and $50 for other times of the day is really an unbeatable price when you compare it to any other Segway tour and who wants to be in a city, navigating around traffic and sidewalks on a Segway? At the park, you can really open them up and enjoy nature. I couldn't recommend this more. We're looking forward to going back on our next visit.

I have been coming to Palm Beach for 30 years. But today I felt the excitement of my first trip as Andrew exposed us to the world of Seqways, and to this spectacular park. It was a PERFECT father/son outing, as we learned to ride together, and then explored the wonders of the park together with Andrew. Andrew is a wonderful guide. He made every minute fun and enjoyable, from the training to the very last stretch of our ride.
This made our trip. I will absolutely be back with the entire family.

We can't rave enough about the tour we just did with Green Motion Segway! The staff, especially Andrew and Mai-Ling (? spelling) were very knowledgeable, showed us exactly how to ride the Segways and provided a great tour. Okaheelee Park was beautiful. It was safe to take the kids riding there. Thanks guys, will do it again soon!

I've often watched people on Segways and wished I could try it. I can't imagine a better place to ride one than in Okeeheelee Park and especially with the great, friendly service that Andrew and his team provided. They were warm and funny, clearly explained how to use the Segway and we were off and riding in a few minutes. And at $39 off season for a 90 minute tour (with whatever detours we wanted to take to safely experiment with the Segway) it was a great bargain.

My 13 year old son and I had a blast!

We passed the tour on Segway. First - Andrew adjust tuition to our time frame, although on our required hours were closed. We got the best description about Wellington park, as we could get. We passed the tour with my wife (also on Segway) and 7-year old son (child bicycle). We had fun. 5star activity!!!!

Curious why you don't fall over while standing still on, or riding a Segway?  The Segway is truly a marvel of modern technology.  It is the world's first self-balancing human transporter.  It uses a process called dynamic stabilization to keep you upright at all times.  For a detailed explanation of this process, and for a hint into the science behind the technology, please click on the following link: How The Segway Works
